Newsday has named Catholic Health Services a Top Workplace on Long Island for 2019. CHS was also recognized in 2018.
This prestigious designation is based solely on employee feedback that represents CHS's six acute care hospitals, three nursing homes, a home nursing service, hospice, a community-based agency for persons with special needs, a regional lab and an extensive network of physician practices.
CHS has also been recognized nationally for 2019 by Modern Healthcare as among the Best Places to Work–the only recognized provider in New York. Read more.
“We are very proud of these recognitions, both are an important validation of the workplace culture that we are committed to build and maintain,” said CHS Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Tony Pellicano.
