Biography:
Angelo J. Procaccino, M.D., is the Interim Director of Surgery and an Attending Surgeon at St. Francis Hospital. He is also an Attending Surgeon at North Shore University Hospital. His academic appointments include Clinical Associate Professor in Surgery at Cornell University Medical College and Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at Cornell. Dr. Procaccino is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners and American Board of Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons. His other affiliations include the Nassau County Medical Society and the Nassau Academy of Medicine. He is also a part of North Shore Surgical Specialists, a private practice in Great Neck, NY. Dr. Procaccino has additional post-graduate training in advanced laproendoscopic surgery, laparoscopic morbid obesity surgery and laparoscopic ventral hernia repair.
