Biography:
Alan S. Katz, M.D., F.A.C.C., is the Director of Cardiac Imaging and Informatics at St. Francis Hospital. He has held positions as the Director of Echocardiography at the Miriam Hospital in Providence, RI, and as the Associate Professor of Medicine at Brown University. He is a leading expert in echocardiography and digital imaging in cardiology and is the author of numerous publications in the field of echocardiography. He is also Associate Professor of Medicine at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and Adjunct Associate Professor at Brown. His main interests include echocardiography, digital imaging and CT angiography.
